Christmas Eve Ohio Style
This new home means new traditions for the holidays. We had an awesome time joining the members of our ward for bowling at Poelking Lanes.
The girls had a party lane all their own with the Lunt and Huber girls. There was quite the swagger going on in that lane!
Brett loved getting in on the action too!
It was a fun new tradition to be a part of. I know this family picture ended up blurry, but I just love Brett's pose so I had to post it! I love when the photos capture real life!!!
Brett was so happy to see his special friend--Sister Gurr!
The kids played games at the Huttons (our awesome neighbors down the street) in the afternoon, and I made tamales for our Mexican feast. That is a Gwilliam family (Emily's side) tradition that we really wanted to carry on.
We had the Evans family over for dinner and then did our traditional nativity together.
Of course, the wise men brought gifts of fudge!
We ended the night with new Christmas PJs---a favorite tradition for the kids. Love the picture--only one finger from Brett this time though!
Brooke had some tears at bedtime when she realized Little Guy would be leaving tonight for the year. They wanted a picture all together with him in his classic Elf pose where they found him today...with the syrup.
It was a simple day, but a lot of fun. We are grateful for the Christmas season to celebrate our Savior. We are grateful for this season of our lives and the new friends that we have made here in Ohio!
