After we worked in the morning we went to Cincinnati to play in the afternoon. We had heard from many people that we needed to check out Jungle Jims, a HUGE international market just under an hour. It was indeed amazing. They had everything you could think of from every country you could think of. Brooke's favorite was the Candy Castle. Heaven for her! Brinnley was equally enamored with the cheese world...complete with the Tom & Jerry characters. The girls were fascinated by "The Big Cheese" block that they have had since the dawn of time. It's so small you can hardly see it in the room now. It will only last another year or so!

I was in heaven with the produce in this place. They had every fruit or vegetable I had ever heard of. Bryce pointed out that they didn't have litchi fruit. He asked the produce man and evidently they just aren't in season right now. No, I am not smarter than a 7th grader. I had no idea what they are and had to google it so I could spell it here, but yes, they are a real fruit. Evidently they had exotic fruit day at school and he actually tried one. Go figure. This picture is us in the bargain section stocking up on some of our favorites and checking out some things we had never seen before--like purple bell peppers. We now have a freezer full of bananas for smoothies because they had them for 25 cents a pound! We also found some fun items for Christmas gifts for family members...bet you can't wait now, can you?

After the grocery shopping extravaganza we drove 10 more miles to Kentucky for dinner just because we could. That makes 14 states the kids have been to now. It was a beautiful drive. The sunset was stunning and the countryside was amazing. Once again, I can't even imagine how breathtaking it will be in Spring! Nearly everyone dozed off in the car on the drive home (except for Mr. Incredible, of course), which means we should have called it an early night. However, everyone got a second wind and we are now finishing off the pies (to make room in the fridge for the produce!) and watching more of Merlin (a family favorite...we are re-watching them while we finish unpacking and find season 5).
